About Hannah

Hannah Kerchhoff is a South African author, essayist, multi-instrumentalist and performing artist from the Cape Flats, South Africa. She is currently based in Johannesburg. Her debut essay collection, My Undoing, was published by Shofar Books in December 2024. Through her work, Hannah explores faith, identity, and what it means to live truthfully and intentionally. She publishes her work regularly on Substack.
